Penelopea and Peater were happily playing in their woods, when all of sudden, they found themselves in a far away place, wondering how they would ever get home! Even though Penelopea is the little sister, she knows how to take charge & have fun along the way! Teaching her big brother Peater that anything is possible, she helps him remember that through nature and song, we can connect to the magic of the world around us.
About the Author
Sam Campanaro has an Art degree and Masters in Education. She has an extensive background in childhood education, including art, music, special education & is also a certified Yoga instructor.
Samantha resides in New England with her husband and three daughters. Her belief in the importance of preserving the childhood connection we all have to nature, music & adventure is what inspired this book and the characters.
Her writing conveys the message that “No matter how lost we feel, we can always find our way home”

Audrey earned a BFA in classical painting and attended artist residencies in the U.S and Europe. She draws inspiration from the community of creators she’s surrounded herself with and is driven to create elements of surprise for children and adults alike. As a mother who spends a lot of time reading with her daughter, she particularly enjoys creating illustrations for children’s books.
